The Pressure is on

Today is the last day of March and FRENCH TWIST is due to the ever patient Deborah Nemeth, Head Editor for Eternal Press. GULP!

FRENCH TWIST is the third book in the Naughty Ladies of Nice series. Claudette D’Laquois and Don Hobbs meet in Nice at her uncle’s chateau. Our couple flees to Paris when the Russian mob, drug trafficking and murder invade their lives.

This book is a new concept of my over active imagination. It’s been a challenge not to be obvious with the conclusion, but me thinks you all will be the judge of that.

Look for its release in June from Eternal Press, www.EternalPress.ca.

Now it’s back to writing that last chapter and a final proof read before FRENCH TWIST wings its way to Deb.

I’ll be back later this week with info on my next project. Until then…

Happy Writing!

Fanning the Flame

Today is a fantastic day. Night Owl Romance has given FRANCINE ON FIRE 4 HEARTS! Below is the review.

Title: Francine on Fire
Author: Sloane Taylor
Genre: Erotica
Hearts: 4/5
Reviewer: Melinda
Date: 3/17/2008
To Read it Online:

Francine Daniels is tired of falling for men who pretend to love her then steal her life savings. Talk about bad luck. So when she meets Heicke Brewer she knows there’s trouble up ahead. Something about this hunky German is making her wonder why they are not in bed yet. He’s smart, clever, and obviously wealthy from the awesome car he drives but he is hiding something from her. All Francine knows is that if she does let him inside her heart she knows she would never be able to survive heartache. What started as a business trip has becoming a memorable trip for Francine. Can she just walk away from Heicke?

Heicke Brewer is not your usual German man but instead a man full of wealth, mystery and so much love he wants to share with Francine. After one disastrous marriage he is cautious about falling in love yet with Francine it comes so easy. She says she is not looking for a man yet each time they come together it is like an explosion of passion between them. Just when he thinks he has found the one his ex intrudes again. Can he make Francine see that he only wants her and not anyone else?

This is a first I have read from Sloane Taylor and have to say she sure knows passion. Between Francine and Heicke it was like figuring out where one began. These two are great yet it takes a lot of hard work on Heicke to make Francine see they are meant for each other. I loved it and other readers will like it as well.

Have a great day!

It’s E-Book Week

March 2nd through March 8th has been designated E-Book week. Aspen Mountain Press, www.aspenmountainpress.com, is celebrating e-Books with a 20% discount on any order. Just enter coupon code EB2594-8 when you get ready to check out and the coupon discount will be immediately applied.

It’s a terrific time to introduce yourself and your friends to the world of e-Books and their benefits. Just a few of the perks to reading e-Books include the reduction of paper waste filling our dumping sites; reduced cost in transportation and pollution associated with shipping paper books; e-Books take up space on a computer or reading device and not your home; e-Books can be purchased any time day or night and are downloadable instantly; e-Books can be the length the story demands so authors aren’t filling a story with padding to make the tale fit a specific length; and e-Books aren’t limited in their subject matter and aren’t censored allowing for adults to read what they want.

Of course you might want to pick up a copy of FRANCINE ON FIRE at Aspen Mountain Press. If you do email me at sloanetaylor@comcast.net for a free “Thank You.”

Happy Reading!

Let the Wine Flow!

Amber Quill Press has released the seven winners of their 5th annual writer’s contest.

Our critique group is popping cyber champagne to celebrate with our very own, extremely talented, Melissa Bradley. Her manuscript, MICHAEL’S KEEPER, a dark fantasy won!

Authors of these winning manuscripts will receive AQP’s standard two-year contract, and the stories will be published (from either Amber Heat or Amber Allure, depending on genre) in June 2008.

CONGRATULATIONS, Melissa and to all the other fine authors!

Happy Writing!
