She caught me giving my stories away for free back when a BBS was all the "internet" ordinary folks had. Back then, I didn't even know "Kemanorel" was female, much less a redheaded Cajun from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. It wasn't until Terrie came to visit that I heard that incredibly sexy Cajun accent, and I knew someday I'd be writing about Cajuns. (Happy sigh) Now that I've found their perfect home, you might just see more of the LaPorte men and women of Breaux Bridge, with Terrie making sure I stay accurate. She's now my crit partner and dear friend of almost twenty years. Lena Okay, on Yule Fire–

I made the cheesecake yesterday, and it's delish and rich!! Definitely make the topping to cut the richness a bit. Now I admit, I was naughty and put a few squirts of melted chocolate sauce for a pretty pattern over the top of the white topping. Even DH, who has been known to turn his nose up at cheesecake, dove into this like a little kid. I made the truffles last year, and they were gone in a solid heartbeat. If you have more than a few friends over like I do, double up. The Candy Melts are super-smooth! Next comment, I'll give you the dish on Yule Fire. Lena Hi y’all!
