May 2007

Spring is here and so is the fourth issue of the newsletter. I’m pleased that eighty-seven people have signed up since May 1, 2007. Welcome and thank all of you for being interested.

IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE!

The winners of last issue’s “Unique Hero Career and Characteristics for Frank Tanner” contest are:

Jackie Wisherd for Career – Frank hunts down art thieves for an insurance company.

Michelle Bauer for Characteristics – Frank sculpts for a hobby.

Jackie and Michelle each won a $15.00 gift certificate for Bath and Body Works.

There were over 200 entries and the choices were phenomenal making it tough to decide. Thank you all for playing along.

Seven synopses were submitted to Triskelion Publishing. To date they have chosen TASTE THE DRAGON, a 20,000 Feverish Interlude that will set the reader on fire. The decision on any of the other books will be to me before the end of the month and I can’t wait!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Studs oldest daughter is getting married in a few weeks. She’s a beautiful woman with a great sense of humor and her fiancé is a doll who cooks better than me. We’re so excited and happy for them. I can’t wait to dance at their reception and see my own hero in a tuxedo.

ON WRITING

Triskelion Publishing is releasing LONNIE HEATS UP in June. Here’s the cover to peak your interest:

In July FRANCINE ON FIRE makes its debut and this is the cover:

Next week I’ll have completed ISABELLA IGNITES and do my final read and corrections before letting it fly to my editor.

CONTEST

It’s time for another Newsletter Members Only Contest.

I’m searching for the title of a new book I want to write. It’s book two of the NAUGHTY LADIES OF NICE series. Book one is named FRENCH TART. These stories are ultra hot and everything goes.

French Canadian Lisette is the heroine in this as yet untitled book. She travels to Nice, France to visit with her best friend Donatienne Dubois. The girls have one escapade after another, until the hero steps in and shows Lisette a new type of fun.

The prize is a free download of the new Sarah Grimm book, NOT WITHOUT RISK. Trust me, you will love it. Please email your entries to sloanetaylor@comcast.net and type CONTEST on the subject line. The drawing will be held June 4 and announced June 5 on my blog. Good luck!
