Panic Has Set In

August 30, 2007 | It's All About Writing

That’s right. You’ve read it correctly.

The panic is due to a Friday, August 31, deadline for French TART which must be completed and on my editor’s desk at close of business. GULP!

Studs and “B” have been aces during these past two weeks. Each of them has offered suggestions, assistance, and tumblers of vodka to help me through it.

So what’s the problem, you ask? I’m happy to tell you in two words – writer’s block. Never thought there was such a thing until now. My mind has frozen and only allows crap to flow from my fingers as they fly across the keyboard.

The only time the ideas break through is when I’m driving. Figures now that gas is over $3.00 a gallon. So my plans for today entail my tape recorder and a road map. Wish me well. I need all the help I can get.

Have a wonderful Labor Day and stay safe.

I’ll be back next week with the dynamic Judith Rochelle, a prolific author and a fun person.

Until then…

Happy Writing!
Sloane
